Ready to set sail? Become a community member today! Our Community Membership gives you access to sail our fleet of boats at your leisure. This is perfect for youth and adults who want to get out and sail on the beautiful St. Croix without having the hassle of owning their own boat.
Prerequisites:
- Experienced at sailing and operating specific boat
- Completed and passed our Safe Sailing Evaluation or Safe Sailing Refresher Clinic

Levels
- Boats: get access to whatever type of boat best suits you, we offer: Optimist, Club 420, J22
- Wind Conditions (gusts): Low Wind (up to 10 kts) and High Wind (up to 15 kts)
Stronger winds (up to 20 kts) require pre-approval, with an instructor and skilled sailors only. (Extra charges will apply for an instructor.) - Zones: Zone 1 (I-94 bridge), Zone 2 (Camp Saint Croix), Zone 3 (Saint Mary’s Point)
- Expert: Access to Spinnaker & Trapeze!
Our Boats
- Keel Boats: Enjoy our fleet of two J22 keel boats that fit up to 4 adults 18+
- Club 420’s: Take out our fleet of twelve C420 boats, these small and fun boats fit up to 3 people perfect for ages 12-18
- Optimist: Sail one of our fifteen Opti’s, these small boats are perfect for ages 7-12 and can fit up to 2 sailors
Sailors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (who may sail with you, or observe from shore).

Your 30-day membership begins at completion of your Safe Sailing Certification or open receival of your Membership Application and payment. Whichever comes later.

Times can be booked in 4-hour blocks. You may reserve up to two blocks at any given time.
Open Sailing will be available from June 1st – mid August.
M-F: Noon – 4 pm, 4pm – 8 pm
Sat/Sun: 8 am – 12 pm, 12 pm – 4 pm, 4 pm – 8 pm
Open Sailing may not be available in July, M-F until 4 pm each day due to Full-Week classes.
We will strive to provide Open Sailing times for all boats according to the schedule below. All is subject to change. J/22’s will be more limited, because we don’t have as many.
